Republican Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, continued his attacks on the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, and on immigration, in a speech in Denver on Saturday. He referenced the continued investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server in connection to classified information and the shooting of two police officers by undocumented immigrants in Denver, in 2005.
Trump warned that the current controversies and scandals surrounding Clinton could cause a constitutional crisis of an unprecedented nature given that these are likely to continue even if she wins the White House in this week’s Presidential election. The controversial real estate billionaire, who has made cutting down on illegal immigration a key issue of his campaign, again pledged to construct a wall on the border between the US and Mexico. He said that the policies of Clinton and President Barack Obama have resulted in the deaths of thousands of Americans at the hands of criminal illegal immigrants.
Trump said that his time on the campaign trail has connected him to many ordinary Americans who have lost their faith in the future of the US. He added that the citizens of the country had been failed by their own government.
Secret Service agents ushered Trump off stage, during a recent scare, when a member of the crowd shouted ‘gun’, in Reno, Nevada. Trump told the large Nevada crowd that Hillary should not even have been allowed to run and promised a big victory on Tuesday.
