Brazil Events Raise US Visa Awareness

Leading Washington-based Immigration and Business Advisory law firm, Hayman-Woodward PLC, recently staged several personalized sessions and informative lectures about foreign investment and immigration for potential clients located in Brazil. The events were staged during 21 and 22 August, in two cities, Brasilia and Goiania, and saw the firm provide expertise on different US visa programs that offer a path to legal emigration to the country.

The pathways include the EB-1A and EB-2 US visas, also known as National Interest Waivers. These US visa categories result in permanent residency and green cards and are becoming more widely known and financially accessible for qualified immigrants who wish to move to the US.

Hayman-Woodward PLC has, throughout its existence, played an important part in making both the reality and benefits of the two US visa categories clearer. The EB-1A and EB-2 US visas have both increased in popularity, particularly with immigrants who offer unique skills in training or expertise, and who could contribute to the job market in the US where there is a dearth of professionals, such as Healthcare, Engineering, Law, Science, Technology, and Education.

Hayman-Woodward’s managing business partner, Leonardo Freitas, says that many people do not think they qualify for expatriation even with superb academic and professional backgrounds, as they are unaware of the existence of no less than 187 different kinds of US visas, many of which enable the possession of a green card.
