Many people are considered inadmissible to the US, based on the regulations outlined in the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) section 212 and Title 8 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), part 212. If you are considered inadmissible into the US, however, you may still request entrance if you already have appropriate documents for admission or if you are applying for U or T nonimmigrant status. If one of these apply to you and you are not applying for admission under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), you can request admission to the US by filing form I-192 (Application for Advance Permission to Enter as Nonimmigrant).
