SAVE Program Offices and agencies offer some benefits to immigrants and under the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, immigrants are eligible for some benefits. However, to qualify for these benefits, immigrants must show their eligibility and their immigrant status. To do this, immigrants need to submit G-845 (Verification Request (SAVE agencies). However, in addition to that form, G-845 Supplement (Document Verification Request Supplement) is often required to provide information and documentation which proves status and therefore eligibility for the benefits. If you need to submit documents with G-845 to prove your immigration status to prove that you are eligible for benefits, you will generally need to submit the G-845 Supplement form.
