In some cases, applicants for visa services wish to file an appeal about their case. If your case involves a visa petition, revalidation of a visa petition approval, revocation of a visa approval, or other visa issues and you wish to appeal the decision, you may use USCIS Form EOIR-29 to appeal the decision that has been made in writing. EOIR-29 is used to appeal decisions which are made by the Immigration Appeals (Board). Whether the Board or the USCIS will consider your appeal will depend on which one has jurisdiction in your case. To determine this, read the Code of Federal Regulations or refer to the instructions for Form EOIR-29.
