Officials complicit in US veterans’ deportation
According to a new report released by California’s branch of the American Civil Liberties Union, the naturalization applications filed by dozens of U.S. veterans who later faced or were deported for minor offenses, were misplaced or lost. The report claims that the federal government did not make sure that the individuals who served the country received naturalization, though their service entitles them to it.
Illegal immigration bills blocked in Senate
